Raising the STANDARD
This information is designed to
assist you in participating in the rollout of Shell
EP’s House Rules.
First introduced last year, our Golden
Rules provide clear direction to help govern our workplace
conduct surrounding compliance, intervention, and respect. These
rules help us all assume individual
responsibility for improving our
HSE performance.
Golden Rules

for HSE
A common set of House
Rules has been developed in our EP business to support implementation
of the Golden Rules.
The House Rules
are designed to assist Shell in progressing along its Safety
Cultural Journey to ultimately eliminate accidents and injuries
in the workplace.
The House Rules
set a new STANDARD for everyone
in EP:

tools
for the job and use them correctly |
| Awareness |
I am aware
of and understand the rules for a job or I find out |
| Naturally

I naturally
hold the handrail when using the stairs |
| Driving

I do use a seatbelt and do not use a cell
phone while driving

| Area

I keep my work area
clean, tidy and free of obstruction |
| Reduce
|
I reduce
sources of waste |
| Dress |
I dress
with the correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for the
task |
